Book Groups 1 and 2

2nd Monday of month-Group 1 at 10:30. 3rd Monday of month-Group 2 at 10:30
Venue: Henley Town Hall

There are currently two active Book Groups. They both meet in the Town Hall, either in the Committee Room or the Council Chamber and both start at 10.30am.

The 1st Group meets on the second Monday of each month and the 2nd Group meets on the third Monday of the month. We read and discuss mainly 20th Century fiction chosen by the Group Leader in consultation with the members and books we have recently read include, The Marriage Portrait by Maggie O'Farrell, The Beggar and the Hare by Thomas Kyro, Painting Time by Maylie de Kerangal and the Island of Missing Trees by Eli Shafak.

If you wish to join any of these groups you need first to contact Kaye McArthur, the group Co-ordinator via the email link at the top of this page. All groups are currently full, but you can join a waiting list.
