On 7th April Roger & Terry led a short walk to and from Remenham Church. Afterwards Janet wrote "Thank you Roger for such a delightful walk. I so enjoyed it…. thanks for a memorable morning.”

So maybe you know a nice walk, possibly near where you live or take the dog?! Please let us know. Tell us which 1st Tuesday would be good for you. You only have to point us in the right directions and we will provide full support. Otherwise we might have to close this group.
We have a very friendly group of walkers, but we just need someone to lead us on their familiar territory. Then we all can enjoy our lovely town or beautiful countryside, some light exercise, fresh air and plenty of chat with stimulating company. who can just turn up without a need to book.
Ideally walks vary between Henley with its surroundings and nearby locations. Updates will be posted on this website; as will any cancellations (only if weather really bad), which we will try to notify by latest 9:00am on the day of the walk.
All walkers are invited to register their names at the walk and to provide their email addresses and emergency phone numbers (not the walkers'), unless already given to the organiser.
Walkers should be prepared to deal with any possible hazards concerning their physical abilities, clothing and equipment. We try to highlight some of these, but most walks involve some road crossings, overhead branches, rough terrain and some inclines.
Walkers do so voluntarily and entirely at their own risk; concerning their health, safety and belongings. The leaders and organiser are volunteers providing only guidance/advice and enabling the activity to take place. They are in no way responsible for walkers, who must satisfy themselves that they are fit enough for the activity, seek medical advice if necessary and notify the leader of any medical issues which might affect themselves or the group.
