First Monday of the month - On line using Zoom

This group is aimed at helping members to take better photographs, concentrating mostly on the use of camera phones. It is led by Keith Appleby who has taught the subject from GCSE to Degree level. The format of the meeting will initially concentrate on looking at the use of camera phones and the basic skills required to create good photographs.  We will cover the basic functions of the Camera phone, composition, lighting, exposure, subject choice and the use of simple editing software to correct and improve the images taken.
Members of the group will be encouraged to take and share their images for discussion and constructive criticism.members work should they need it.

PLEASE NOTE: This Group starts in January 2026 and the first meeting is on Wednesday 7th January. After that it will meet on the first Monday of the month. Each meeting will be recorded in order that any members unable to attend can catch up with what was covered in the meeting.

The group has been capped at 16 to make it a manageable size. I will create a waiting list if any others wish to join and will review the situation if the waiting list becomes a reasonable size.
